Hello Norfolk explorers ๐ Summer's not quite done with Norfolk yet, even though autumn is creeping in. We spent Saturday at Reprezent Mural Jam on the Great Yarmouth seafront, watching street artists create murals right in front of us. If you missed it, you can still go and see the finished pieces. Reprezent has already confirmed next year's dates, 4-5 September 2027, if you want to get it in the diary early. Sunday's plans were a lot more energetic. Russell ran Run Norwich for the second time and beat his previous time, out among more than 8,000 runners (get a glimpse of it here). I marshalled this year and was touched by how many runners took the time to say thank you as they passed. Whether it's running, volunteering, or just turning up to cheer, please consider getting involved next year (date TBA). There's plenty happening for you this week too. Heritage Open Days is on across the county for the next ten days, and we've rounded up our picks for the best drop-in events, no booking needed, over on Facebook. Hello Norfolk explorers ๐ You've probably noticed it's getting dark earlier, but that doesn't have to mean staying in. We hope you caught the incredible show from Mother Nature on Saturday night. We went out to Ranworth to see the northern lights over Malthouse Broad (pictured above) and the ruins of Panxworth Church (watch a short timelapse video here). We have a feeling there will be more aurora soon, so check out our post on chasing the northern lights in Norfolk to be prepared. We...
Hello Norfolk explorers ๐ Happy October! This is one of those quieter weeks in Norfolk, which might be exactly what you need. Think gentle walks, long lunches and catching up with friends, plus a chance to visit some of your favourite attractions before their winter hours begin. It was Russell's birthday weekend, so we kept things simple with a short but scenic 1.5-mile walk at Taverham Mill, where we spotted Highland cattle (pictured above)! We're not sure how much longer they'll be there,...
