Hello, Norfolk explorers! 👋 We’ve officially passed the halfway point of January, and things are starting to pick up around Norfolk. First up, tomorrow the Norwich City Fans Social Club is hosting its Mental Health Awareness Evening. I’ve been a few times over the years and it’s always thoughtful, welcoming, and genuinely inspiring. This weekend brings a fun mix of events, with Burns Night celebrations taking place across the county and the Travel Norwich Airport Holiday & Cruise Show returning for anyone dreaming of a getaway. Then next week, one of my favourite seasonal highlights begins as Walsingham Abbey reopens for snowdrops. A little tip from experience, they’re lovely at the end of January, but if you can wait until February, the display is even more impressive. It’s also your last chance to make the most of January deals from local Norfolk businesses. We’ve rounded them all up here. And if you’re still looking for winter inspiration, we’ve also put together a guide to some great things to do in Norfolk during the quieter months. Hello Norfolk explorers 👋 This weekend is your last chance to visit Gooderstone Water Gardens before they close on 3 April. It’s such a lovely place, and it feels especially sad to see it go, so if you’ve been meaning to visit, don’t leave it any longer. At the same time, Norfolk is starting to shift into spring mode. The clocks go forward this weekend, Easter events are beginning to appear, and there are more reasons to get out and about again. What are you most looking forward to this...

Over the weekend we took a trip to King’s Lynn to visit the Lynn Museum while they still have free admission (October to March). Their Seahenge exhibition is fascinating and they also have a special Star Wars exhibition running through May. We also took advantage of Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s 100th birthday celebrations and visited...
