Hello Norfolk explorers 👋 We hope you're having a great week. Last weekend was all about chasing poppies for us! It's incredible how many amazing poppy fields there are in Norfolk this year. I think my favourite was the one by Kelling (pictured above), which has a sea view and where we were lucky enough to see a rainbow. The poppy field near Blakeney was also impressive, and there are too many around Courtyard Farm near Ringstead to count. We took so many photos that we're still sharing them on our Facebook page. We even spotted several lovely fields along the Fakenham Road near Guist but decided not to stop because we'd already filled our camera rolls! The poppies will probably start to fade quite quickly now, so it's worth seeing them while you can. If flowers aren't your thing, there's plenty happening across Norfolk this week, especially for those who enjoy beer, music, wildlife, and art. From steam trains and local ales to butterflies, outdoor concerts, and art exhibitions, there's plenty to choose from this week. ⬇️ ✨ What's Happening Around Norfolk This Week?Rails and Ales (12 -14 June) Rails and Ales brings together vintage trains and local drinks in one easy day out. Of course, there's plenty more happening across the county too, from vintage festivals and carnivals to circus performances,...
Hello Norfolk explorers 👋 We really couldn’t have asked for better weather over the Bank Holiday weekend. Ok, maybe it was a little too hot at times, but hopefully you managed to stay cool and enjoy some time outdoors. We spent part of the weekend at the Norwich Games Festival, which was great fun, and also got out for a riverside walk and another visit to Sheringham Park. The rhododendrons are still looking lovely in places, although this recent heat seems to have pushed some areas past...
